*Eligibility*
The Competition is open to all artists residing in the United States. Work
must have clay as the primary medium. Works that vary appreciably from
submitted image will be rejected at the discretion of the Gallery Director.
*Fees*
There is a non-refundable entry fee of $20.00 per artist, with a maximum of
2 works submitted per artist. Make checks payable to UAM Art Club.
Fee must be included with entry form.
*Slides*
Submit 35mm transparencies, up to 2 views of each work. Identify artist's
name, title, and size of each piece on each slide. Designate entry number
(entry 1 or 2) on each slide and note top left corner with TOP.
*Digital Images*
300 dpi at 5x7 inches, saved as unassociated JPG.
Title of image(s) must include initials title and entry number.
Ex. SLWiskeyCup1, SLBirdCup2. Write name and titles on CD
*Agreement*
*Taylor Library Gallery, reserves the right to reject works from the
exhibition deemed extraordinarily fragile or unstable, and reserves the
right to reject works accepted by the juror, due to their content or
inability to be properly installed.
*A commission of 30% of sale is taken from all sales.
*By submitting work, the artist agrees to allow work to be reproduced in an=

Gallery publicity.
*If work is accepted to exhibition, all required forms must be to the
gallery by Dec 7th
*Sales*
Price list will be available to the public. Artists must indicate a sellin=
g
price for insurance purposes.
*Insurance*
All work to be shown at Taylor Library Gallery will be insured against fire=
,
theft, and other hazards at Gallery while in possession of Gallery, from
time of receipt, set up and exhibition. The Gallery nor UAM does not insur=
e
during transit. This is the responsibility of the Artist.
UAM and its employees/students cannot be held responsible for damages to
work during shipping to or from exhibition and will not cover work in
transit.
*Image use*
LTC Gallery, the Art Dept, Art Club or UAM may choose to use accepted or
denied images for educational purposes and may choose to use accepted image=
s
for publicity purposes.
Submission of images is approval for use.
*Juror*
Works will be juried by Conner Burns, Owner of Burns Pottery, a gallery and
teaching studio in Natchez MS

*Specifications*
Works may not exceed 12 inches in any dimension and must weigh less than 10
pounds. Clay must be the primary medium. Necessary assembly and mounting
instructions and materials must be included with accepted works.
*Rules*
* All Entries, entry forms, fees slides and SASE for return of slides, must
be final postmarked by Oct 18th
* All works must remain on display for the duration or the exhibition.
* Artist is responsible for shipping charges to and from the Gallery,
postage or a Prepaid UPS label must be included for return shipping by Dec
7. Work will be discarded as trash if no return shipping payment is
received by end of exhibit.
* Payment of entry fees and submission of images for judging signifies the
artist's understanding and acceptance of all rules and conditions of the
competition.
*Shipping*
Artists are responsible for the shipping charges to/from Gallery. We
strongly suggest you insure work in transit.
* We will return Fed Ex only, include a check for the return shipping with
your shipped inventory.
* Please include all necessary papers including a resume and artists
statement with the work.
