Please join us for the second annual =93Down to Earth Exhibit=94-- with spe=
cial events to celebrate the connections between functional art, film, musi=
c, food, sustainable farming and community

November 9th through December 8th, 2007
Located at The Arts Scene, West Chester, PA, 530 E. Union Street

The second annual Down to Earth Exhibit, sponsored by Kimberton Whole Foods=
, will take place at The Arts Scene in West Chester, PA from November 9 =96=
December 8, 2007. This unique exhibit includes over 100 pieces of juried =
functional pottery made by 16 regional ceramic artists on tables and cabine=
ts made by 6 invited furniture makers and sculptors. Throughout the durati=
on of the exhibit, four special events will take place that further the cel=
ebration and exploration of the connections between farming, art, food, and=
viable community. A portion of the exhibit=92s sales and special event ti=
ckets will benefit the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture=
=92s (PASA) Southeastern PA BUY FRESH BUY LOCAL (BFBL) chapter and the COMM=
UNITY GARDENS OF CHESTER COUNTY-two not for profit organizations dedicated =
to the creation and support of a sustainable local food system, and thus a =
healthy, thriving community.

=B7 presentations by potter Jane Herold who studied with Michael C=
ardew and focuses on the importance pots in daily living and
=B7 furniture maker Bill Kreider who salvages I beams and vintage =
wood.
($25 advance registration, $30 at the door, kids under 12 Free)

December 8 - "Empty Bowls" Closing Reception 6pm =96 10pm
=B7 Buy donated ceramic bowls and 100% of sales go to Community Ga=
rdens of Chester County, www.gardenscc.org, a local non-profit dedicated to=
improving the quality of life of the county=92s low-income residents throu=
gh community gardening and greening.
=B7 Meals will be donated by local restaurants/caterers.
=B7 Featuring music of Llama Dalis, (formerly NeoPseudo).
=B7 Silent Auction bidding ends at 8pm
