i have just down loaded your book it is a lovely book, very reader friendly
.
i have no experiance in crytals but i am planning on starting to experiment
.
i needed to get some answers, i have been reading robin hopper`s book too.
i found that he has some formulae with frit 3134 is it possible to make
crystal glazes with out frit 3110.
while in your book and in peter illsley`s book there is no mention of any
other frit except 3110
i have alkaline frit low fire alkaline borax frit and 3134.
how do i get in touch with you off the list as i dont want to discuss
formilae?

Not sure if Fara is reading Clayart or not, hopefully she is.
I would suggest you start by trying a one-to-one substitution of your
alkaline frit for #3110.
I also believe frit #4110 is a substitute for #3110.
Let me know what you discover and I may be able to suggest other solutions.
