Hi Mudders,
I will be taking a trip to Monterey Calif. in December and would like to
know if clay sites of interest in that area: potters, galleries, etc.
Anyone know of any? Will have some afternoon and evening time to visit
places/people.

Hi John and all,
Right across from Nepenthe below Big Sur there is a fairly new art gallery
that is physically stunning owned and run by an artist family, a sculptor,
a glassblower, a jeweler, and a potter. There's a glass floor on part of
the upstairs and when me and Maia wandered in there was a string ensemble
playing chamber music upstairs...great view, pretty cool. Called Hawthorne
Gallery. And several miles down is Henry Miller Library now this was WAY
COOL wih a SUPER sculpture garden.
Enjoy! E........when we were driving up the coast I was so looking forward
to viewing the palmfronds swaying in the breeze like some live thing
dancing on the hillsides but they had almost all been attacked by
windstorms and were staggering around naked which in itself was quite a
show memorable and different...
