I am going to try the below glaze, but need to know how thick it should be
applied. I planning on just pouring or dipping one coat. Does that seem
appropriate for this glaze?
Cone 9 - 10 Iron Rust

Potash Feldspar 45
Whiting 17
Kaolin 13
Silicia 23

RIO 13

I was also looking for a glaze called Mel's Orange but can not find it in
the archives.

Hi Randy,

Better not put it on too thick - that is a lot of fluxing iron in
reduction. It will be a saturated iron glaze - plume I think - crystals of
iron on the surface.
