Pottery announces
LARGE POT WORKSHOP
July 25-July 29, 2005
Morning and evening sessions available.
Trina Feldhake will lead this five-day workshop concentrating on large
thrown pots and combination pots. The purpose of the Workshop is to explore
different ways to make bigger pots, expand your ideas of pots and see how
far the clay and you can go.
The class will study cylinders, bowls and plates with trimming, handles,
spouts and textures to enhance your pots.
This is an intermediate and advanced potters workshop. You should be able
to center at least 3 pounds of clay. The classes will be small, emphasizing
individual assistance.
The cost of the workshop is $175, which includes 50 pounds of clay and
bisque firing of all pots. The morning session will be 9-noon and the
evening session will run 6-9 pm. Extra clay, studio time and glaze firings
will be available.
