I just posted the last blog on my trip to Yixing. A look at some
contemporary teapots somewhat outside the tradition.
i read with interest Kelly getting in a flap over her grad show. Made me
think I too ought to! The way I figure it if you do your day to day studio
work you will make lots of work and there ought to be a body of work that
has your name on it at the end of the year. Sheila and I have been doing
shows/one and two man, invitational etc for so many years it's just part of
the business.
Got word from Sheila today that she has been selected by Bruce Cochrane to
be partnered with him at the Strictly Functional Show this Sept at
Arrowmount. I'm proud of that lady! She works away without drawing attention
to herself but the work gets the attention of people that know pots. Well
done Sheila!!
