If you wouldn't mind posting for me I'd appreciate it. I could join
the group but at this time don't know if I'd have much time to post
other than finding this kiln a good home.
I have acquired this Kiln that appears to be a Dawson model #1816
cone, three stage plug and looks to be in good shape. (Other than the
stand was rusted out)Some one moved and left it in storage. One of
the hinges may also need replaced. Looks a little rusty. The book I
have with receipt of purchase looks like it was purchased around
1991.The PDF file I located states that were made between 1967 and
1991. There are silts, cones, etc with it. I also have tons of
ceramic making magazine dating clear back to 1980's, some glaze and
something in liquid form in jugs that someone said it is the stuff
one pours in molds that doesn't spoil if kept liquid.
There may be some molds as well.
I would like to get $300.00 for all of it or best offer.
