Y'all may recall I wrote a while back that my Peter Pugger stopped doing =
its vacuum thing, and I was nervous I'd have to replace the vacuum pump =
at who knows what cost.
I called PP and the guy asked a few questions, had me do a test and then =
he said he thought the problem was one of the hoses was clogged up. So. =
Haven't had time to mess with it until today, because I TRIED to get =
the hoses loose but it required a hammer in addition to the wrench. =
Those suckers are on tight!
Ginny took the top hose off just a few minutes ago, and voila! The mud =
daubers had gone in through the air valve on top and built themselves a =
cozy nest in my hose, thus blocking the vacuum from doing its thing. I =
shoulda known something was up, I had already dug the mud out of that =
valve on the outside of the machine, but I didn't know they could get =
down INTO the thing. Now they've been washed down the drain and the =
vacuum works great. Yahoo!
