wrist wrinkle guide for table heights

If you turn your wrist up and look at the base of the palm of your hand
there are three wrinkles across the wrist. The middle wrinkle is the
guide. Hang your arm straight down in a relaxed position, the middle
wrinkle indicates the table height that would be good to wedge at.
(This allows flex in your elbows and the ability to use your whole body
while wedging). This guide line is used by physical therapists to gauge
the correct height for canes and crutch handles. Of course this is a
guideline and one should adjust up or down a little for individual
needs. This should put you in the right ball park, though. If tables
are too high, you are using too much of your hands and arms for
wedging. If the tables are too short, you are bending over and your
back will suffer.
