I have finally gotten my personal studio up and running after moving from
Berkeley to Austin earlier this year. I was lucky in that a previous owner
of Cone 10 Studio was leaving Austin just as I arrived and I was able to
buy her 25% partnership. Now that I have my own studio again, I am selling
my partnership for $5000, which is what I paid for it.
Cone 10 Studio (www.cone10studio.com) is an active community of over 20
potters located in the great city of Austin, Texas. The studio has 2200 sq.
ft. of community space with an electric bisque kiln and an 80 cu. ft.
downdraft glaze kiln. The bisque kiln is fired several times each week and
the glaze kiln about every 4 weeks. We offer community wheels, worktables,
slab roller, extruder and over 20 glazes. The studio is available to
members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Duties of ownership
=B7 Owners perform all duties required to run the studio.
Some duties are assigned to each individual owner.
Some duties are done as needed by whoever is available.

The new owner of Cone 10 must work intimately and in harmony with the other
three owners therefore prior to a commitment to buy into the studio it is
requested that a potential owner lease a space at Cone 10 studio for
approx. 30 days so he or she can get to know the other owners and the Cone
10 community of clay artists.
