Hi Kendra
I was just looking at these glazes. The Gerstley Green glaze is using a
fairly old base, at least from 25 years ago. At that time I remember it
being called EZ clear. Not a lot of ingredients, so if you have to sub,
you have to sub a large portion of the glazes. However, I have, just for
testing sake, subbed gram for gram, the Gerstely portion, with Frit 3124
and with Frit 169, and it was all right.
The second glaze you listed, Iguana Green. Just wondering if you have all
of ingredients. It does not have to add up to 100, but it is far below.
Bentonite can help suspension, but sometimes is added in 1 and 2 percents
to get a glaze up to unity. Is there anything else in this glaze?
Otherwise, on Glaze Master, adding up to 100 gram, it looks like this
