The mention of Manganese (dioxide?) in the post from Ron Roy (Date: Sat, =
17 Nov 2007 16:37:02 -0500) and the admonition about safety precautions =
prompts me to ask...
.... We have Saturated Iron glazes....but.... has anyone had experience =
in developing a glaze that is well loaded with Manganese Dioxide or =
Manganese Carbonate.
It seems possible that the creation of Manganese silicate, of which =
there are two listed, would sequester the black oxide and render it =
insoluble.
Any comments?
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.
