I am having problems with a commercial glaze that is crazing. The clay
body is cone 5 B-Mix and the glaze is Laguna WC520 transparent, which
says it has a range of cone 5-10 on the label. I fire to cone 6. Can
anybody offer an additive that will help with the crazing? It seems to
happen more where the glaze is thicker but I am concerned that if I am
seeing it now, it will get worse as these pots age.
Unfortunately, I don't have any of it left in dry form so need to find
something I can add to it wet.
I am also open to recommendations of other transparent commercial glazes
that might work well with this clay body. I don't have room to mix my
own glazes at this time so I am stuck with using commercial.
Thanks.

Dina - Laguna MS29 (Clear Bright) works well on ^5 B-mix. I usually use
it over underglazes. The B-mix without any color added fires to a light
creamy off-white under this glaze at ^5 or ^6. I have never had a problem
with crazing with MS29.
