I have a virtually unused Olympic gas kiln. Model number 2831G.
We bought it about 10 yrs ago and promptly never used it. One of those
wannabe projects.
The fellow we bought it from had only used it a couple times if ever, a
hobbyist of some sort or married and divorced one I can't remember.
I will clean the dust off and see if I can get a photo of the
thermocouple on the safety valve, that should tell it's use, it may still
be shiny.
So, The brick is in great shape and no rust anywhere on the stainless.
I will also have to look up value... and figure it's measurements.
I am putting this out there as the discussion about Olympic gas kilns
came up.
