"Topical Discussions"deadline is November 15 , this text was pulled from
the last NCECA newsletter.

From the Yellow Newsletter.
NCECA would like to hear from members who plan to attend the 1998
conference in Fort Worth, March 25-28 and who are interested in being
leaders of the Topical Discussions or NCECA Connections. The Topical
Discussions are designed for individual members with common interests who
would like to present pertinent issues or ideas in an informal setting. As
Discussion leader, you would introduce the the topic , get the discussion
going, facilitate the proceedings, assuring that everyone participates and
that the discussion is not dominated by one or two persons. No honorarium
or othe compenstation is given for leading the Topical Discussions.
However, leaders have derived a great deal of satisfaction from their
involvement in a segment of the conference that generates so much interest
and exciting ideas.
NCECA Connections are designed for groups and organizations to network and
share mutual concerns and ideas. The intenet is to contiue to foster a
free exchange of ideas, information and experiences. Like Topical
Discussions, leaders do not recieve any compensation.
Both one and one -half hour programs begin with a short introduction by a
Board Member and then break out into the designated groups.
Please send a brief description of your proposal, indicating the prefeered
sesssion (topical Discussions or NCECA Connections) by November 15 , 1997
