ordering a new slabroller!

Hi Larry,

I bought the 30" electric in I think in 2000 and was annoyed that some of
the parts - nuts and bolts didn't come with the unit. They did send them
pronto upon my request and I was able to assemble the slab roller. It
seemed that the adjustments were really hard to get right but once I got it
down, everything was fine. Since then I have not had to readjust anything
and I shouldn't say that right because when you talk about these things they
somehow grab you in the ass.!

I see a littler drop of oil coming from the motor and I know it isn't going
to fix itself but I keep hoping and ignoring it.....I live in a very harsh
climate of heat, humidity and the worst is salt air. Everything fails ahead
of its time. My only regret is that I didn;t get the long table but I
didn't have room for it and still don't!. My advice is go for it. I have
used it daily for well almost 8 years and it is still going except for the
drop of oil. I suspect it is a seal and one of these days the thing will
just stop running at the most inconvenient time.

I do lot of slab work and tons of tile works and I would miss it terribly
if it stopped working.

I am going to place an order for a new slabroller this week and would like to ask for any bad experiences with what I am looking at. Here We Go!

I am looking at a 30" Bailey electric drive board unit with the long table, or the same unit without the drive board.

The electric head is a must for me and why I am looking at the Bailey.

Are there any issues with the drive board staying in alignment, Failure of components or construction issues?

Thanks Always!

I have this machine. I've had it for seventeen years. Not one problem
with it. It makes excellent slabs. get the long table. If you don't
you'll regret it later.
