For folks in or visiting eastern NC
who are looking for a clay studio:
I am opening the large studio for classes on Tuedays,
much in the manner of Dan's up in Bailey, only here on the
Outer Banks in Beaufort, NC.
One painting, two clay studios on site.

We are located:
2.5 hours from Wilmington, Raleigh, and Greenville
1.5 hours from Jacksonville and Washington
1 hour from New Bern, Swansboro, OBX
30 minutes from Havelock/Cherry Point
5 minutes from the ocean at Atlantic Beach and SOBX
Tuesday mornings and then Tuesday nights.
Open schedule.
One fee for the month ($50) and then pay per final firing.
No structured instruction but all the help you need.
Clay and glazes available on-site.
We have a cone 7 wood kiln to be fired monthly, raku,
saggar/chimney, pit, and electric firing available.
Five electric and one kick wheel available.
(Brent CXC, Pacifica 800, 2 Artista, Creative Industries, York)
Northstar Slab Roller and Wall-mounted extruder.

Those who attended the Potters Council Workshop,
Natural Instincts, can advise on the facilities.
Beautiful marsh side environment.
Outdoor throwing deck and casual atmosphere.
Camping at Oyster Point 5 miles away.
Instruction on throwing and brush painting available
by request at any time and workshops to be scheduled
monthly beginning when it is a bit warmer!
Day visitors are welcome and arrangements can be made
for extended studio use while visiting the Crystal Coast.
