Sadly, I think in the not too distant future
I will be in need of this glaze...
You may remember the article (CM in the nineties).
It was about a potter who finally moved to the country
and was able to have a companion black lab in his studio with him.
After many years the lab passed away and the author/potter
used his ashes to make a glaze he called black lab black.
He was able to have his dog with him still.
(I'm a softie and this breaks me up every time)
Does anyone have any experience with this glaze?

That was a Zakin article I believe. I have yet to try it with some of
my basenji's ashes. Let us know if you try it with tree ash or
something. I can get the article citation if someone wants it. Pre
1996.
