So, is there a practical difference between oxidation and neutral?

That is, will a glaze appear different if fired in an electric kiln vs
fired in a gas kiln in oxidation? (assuming firing to the same cone, of
course...)

Jenni: Yes there is a great differance in most glazes. I was use to
firing reduction, and am now doing oxidation work. The glazes do not get
the carbon deposits like they do in reduction and therefor the colors are
not the same. The glazes seem to be flater, but I am figuring out how to
stop that. I have found layering will work. Everything is different.
Good luck, Jennifer in Alpine, Tx
