08 clear recipe

If you bump your bisque firings up to cone 06, your mother can try all
kinds of commercial lowfire glazes that are on the market.

>Does anyone have a cone 08 clear recipe they would be willing to share. My mother makes angles and would like to be able to fire them with my bisque. She had fired them with my cone 6 work but I no longer fire to cone 6 and she doesn't make enough to fire an entire load. The under glazes she uses will not take cone 10. She uses a white stoneware for her angles.

>I checked all my books and the 08 recipes I have found and tried are not a true clear. They come out cloudy no matter how thin they are applied.
