I'll chime in to champion the "kids" out there working hard at making =
and learning about making pots. Two of my most recent grads are working =
at two part time jobs while continuing to be active in the studio, =
entering (and getting in to ) national juried shows, teaching part time =
and pitching in to help me in the studio. At the same time I know of =
profs who meet their classes and are out the door, don't enter shows, =
barely make pots - just skate through the day. Are all the kids =
perfect, hardly, but neither are the old farts.

next generation

I am grateful that I was born into the baby boomers. What an
adventure we have lived. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

This is the pampered generation that created massive
turmoil, started the computer age, and changed the world.
Along the way we have also made perhaps more mistakes than
any other generation. (That's okay, too, because it is part
of learning.)

I believe the "greatest generation" is the 20-somethings of
today. They are extraordinary.

Sincerely,
