Thanks for posting it Sally. I will give it a try when I start testing,
except that I only have Manganese Dioxide on hand.
I think I read somewhere that the carbonate is better for glazes, since
it's got a smaller particle size and would give a more even color. But
I'll see what happens and post the results.

Paul,
I've never had problems with specking with Mn ... except when
intentional, with a high mesh-size. You should be ok, if your MnO2 is
>=200-mesh.
