I'm not sure if this will work with your clays and glazes, but if the crack is just from shrinkage at the join, I sometimes paint onto the bisque a half and half mixture of slip (from the clay you are using) and the glaze you will cover it with. Then glaze it normally. A coating that makes the crack disappear is usually enough; too thick and the glaze may crawl.
