Hi Casey,
Get a new limit timer motor. Yours is broken. They are inexpensive
and easy to install.

Just remove the screws from the box that attaches the electric
switches to the kiln. (make sure it is unplugged when you do this).
Find the limit timer motor. Remove the screws holding it in place,
then put your new one in. The little knob you turn to set the limit
timer is usually held on with a recessed screw. You will need to
remove this before you can change the limit timer motor. It's harder
to explain this than it is to do it. Just take it apart and have a
good look at it and you will see what needs to be done.

Hi I'm Casey. I just bought a used Cress Kiln FX1414P. My timer keeps turning off prematurely. I've
set it anywhere from 1-6 hours and it turns off within minutes. The dial spins as it should, what
should I do?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,
Casey
