Aftosa currently carries them, but their website says they're
discontinuing them. I'd like to know if there is an alternative source
also (preferably at a lower price than the $5+ at Aftosa).

Aftosa http://www.aftosa.com has "metal" pumps
(they are actually plastic, covered with metal), in 3
slightly different styles.
They do not come with collars, but they fit their
standard collars, which you can buy separately.

These things are expensive! A standard plastic pump
is about 45 cents and these are 10 times the price.
Also, be aware, they are bigger and more substantial-
looking than plastic pumps - they will dwarf a small
dispenser bottle and not look right.
If you make an appropriately sized lotion pot it will
look very good with one of these, which makes them
worth the substantial extra cost.

There are some cheaper ones here:
http://www.ezpots.com/Lotionpump.html

I've had a few of these (the SP-2 type) in heavy use at a salon, and
they are not as robust as they look. The innards are still plastic, and
they only last as long as the plastic ones, despite looking better.

I'm still on the lookout for more robust plastic ones, but all the
suppliers I can find seem to stock the same type as Aftosa.

I believe you can order them from Tuckers.
