Dear Wil -
Could I just be brutally honest and say that the mere thought of putting a
plastic pressure-fit sippy-lid on a hand-thrown pottery mug just makes me
want to projectile vomit all over my computer?

Does anyone know of a good supplier of plastic lids (as well as other non-
ceramic accessories). I was looking for the quality drinking lids made of
heavy black plastic that push into the cup and have a rubber seal around
the rim.
Thanks,

Ouch! I made a set of plates for a friend's baby and included a cup for
both parents and one for a baby to use when she gets older. I made about a
dozen until I managed to get a perfect fit with the sippy lid. I was very
pleased with myself and the look of the cup with the lid. (so there :^P )

Now, now, Vince -
Jennifer Boyer did it very successfully and tastefully, and quite frankly, I would rather drink out of a pottery travel mug than some nasty ol' plastic one. Even the metal ones can affect the flavor of the brew.
Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.
