I recall that DRG kaolin was mainly used in the paper making industry.
It is, I think, more refractory (how much I cannot say) than EPK. I will
have a look as see if I still have my notes from the last 60's when I was at
San Jose State U where we had DRG in our glaze mixing room. I think it may
also be a bit less plastic than EPK.
I will post a reply if my notes shed any more light on the DRG question.
