Friends,

Recently I posted an announcement about Seth Cardew and the book "Pioneer
Pottery." Here's an update: The re-issue of Michael Cardew's classic book
"Pioneer Pottery" is being published by the American Ceramic Society and
should be available in July. This is a long awaited event in the world of
pottery literature and kudos go the the ACerS for making this happen. Along
with the re-issue of the book, Seth Cardew, Michael's son and an outstanding
potter and teacher, will be coming to the USA to celebrate his fathers work
with exhibitions in NY and to do a series of workshops. Currently his
schedule while here is full except for the weekends of 26-27 May and possibly
2-3 June when he could do additional presentations. If you are interested in
hosting Seth you can contact him and his wife Roberta at <>
