Hi Mel, all,
I dunno...
I could not find anything to like in this guy or his article...
Just seems like 'banality' itself, self-referencing itself as consolation
for having fallen way short of getting anywhere worth getting to, having
sought to remain tritely-topical through some decades, and, more or less,
succeeding, while remaining, probably, all the while, nothing more than a
salesman, with a schtick.
Just what the hell is he saying, 'really'?
Other than implicitly, that by being patronizing and glib and 'safe' and
pasteurized-homogenized 50-something, and on the 'cutting edge' of a sodden
'middle' of nowhere, one can get a lecture fee? if one is good enough at it?
Maybe you or someone else can allow me a summary elucidation of this guy's
trip...which would shine light on it's merit(s).
But on my own, I could find any...
Love...
Phil
