tony's bad firing

updated fri 11 apr 08

i will send tony a wonderful new
kiln god.

i am sure that his old kiln god has worn
out.

firing is all about kiln gods...not technology.

what do ron and john know about firing?
kiln gods.

why would a guy with a ph.d. like john hesselbreth.
years in one of the nations leading research
labs. god john...kiln gods.

so, if we could all just send along a kiln god to
tony...i think things will be alright.
then tony could say...`my god, my kiln fires like a god...`
or, was `that god damn kiln`.

I think that is me that you are trying to belittle, not tony.

I know it can be a bit difficult to see people's tongues in their
cheeks through the fog of words across the internet, but really,
there is no need to be an ass. there are a few folks posting here
that seem to be able to bicker well enough for 1000 people. do we
really need any more than that? lighten up, man.

Mel: thanks for the offer of a kiln god. I'm the type of guy that
doesn't believe in gods until I'm in real trouble. If you get me off
this airplane in one piece i'll be a believer forever, if you help my
kid thru this crisis I'll go to church every Sunday from now until
eternity, if you promise me one great wood firing I'll give generously
at the donation plate. I'll try to solve the pressure meter problem on
my own and if it doesn't give me a great firing I'll be at church this
sunday.
All the best and thanx for thinkin' of me.
Cheers,
tony

Not that I need to defend Mel but, Jon, he was kidding! If you have
been reading this list for awhile, you have to know that Mel does not
belittle anyone....ever! He has a dry sense of humor and most of us
get it.
Now that has been said, I am trying to decide if I should make a kiln
goddess for Tony. Damn, maybe I should make one for myself! Of
course, electric firers leave nothing to chance....we are all
programmed, plugged in, switched on...never have a bad firing. Oh,
how I wish that were true! Then again, we would never learn
anything, would we?
So, Jon, keep smiling, no one is getting an ass kicking right
now...except maybe that woman who really ticked off Lee about his grant.
