i have included a picture on my clayart website that
shows the rack system.

it is four vertical 2x4 uprights...then level 2x4 horizontal bars
that hold ware boards.

the distance of the horizontal depend on the style of work you do.
these racks can hold hundreds of mugs.
i have two such racks.

had four of them in the high school room. of course, the next
teacher threw them out, put up shelves. what a waste of space.
each kid had one board. it became their locker. all pots were stored
on their board. seniors had extra boards up high.
new kids were on low boards.
had more than enough room.

the only difference, the japanese potters use bamboo horizontals..and
often suspend the racks from the ceiling...or some such thing.
they were all different. we could get about 500 pots on the rack
each day.

very easy to make...about an hour.
