Hello Everyone,
I really appreciate ClayArt's archives and would hate to see everyone's
hard work be erased into oblivion. It seems at the moment things are going
better however I have made a DVD complete with
search ability of all the archives from 1996-to present see below if you
would like one.
I haven't posted before. Just gained an incredible amount of knowledge
through the archives. Pottery is not my main career, It's something I do
more now that I'm semi-retired (I know more about IT actually) So I'm
happy that I am able to contribute something to this wonderful group.
I've been collecting all the posts from the very start of Clayart March
1996 - 2008 ever since I heard of the new changes going on from Mel.
He had asked people to mine the archives so I got busy. It
cost me more then I thought it would to put all the posts together but
feel it was very worth it. I just completed it and I am making a copy of
it on a DVD. If anyone would also like a copy please let me know I'd be
happy to mail you a CD or DVD of it also. The really great thing about
it is that you will not need internet connection to view the archives!
You can search through all the posts too. I hope to cover some of the
costs I accrued in order to put this together - I am asking for a $20
donation via paypal if you want a copy and hopefully enough of you will
find this useful to help me pay for the expense (!) I won't be collecting
money until I know there are enough people signed up to make it worthwhile.
