I have never taken the time to learn much about slip decorating a pot.
I had a fellow potter in Canada give me a ^10 slip recipe last year and
have just got around to trying it. I applied the slip to the wet pot
right after throwing and all is dry now. He also gave me a recipe for a
clear to use over the slip. I can't get back in touch with him at the
moment and there is one thing I didn't find out from him. Do you put
the clear over the dried slip and once fire to ^10? Or do you bisque
the slipped vase and then apply the clear and fire to ^10? Does anybody
have any idea on this one? Thanks for nay help.
