Hi All, been awhile but we , Nottingham Center for the Arts, are back on the
list.
We are building our new kiln yard and will be running new gas service. My
question:
Any good sources on this aspect of the project. Size of lines vs initial
pressure, manifolding, etc. Since we're redoing the works I'd prefer to do it
as well as possible the first time.
We now have seven gas kilns with a total of 320 cu. ft. Plus a very large top
loading sculpture kiln with up to 150 cu. ft. ( it runs on a separate 500
gal. propane tank).
We are looking for a large, 36", Baily slab roller so if you know of one for
sale please let me know. Please respond directly to my "non-listserve"
address: tsullivan@nottinghamarts.org
Glad to be back on the list and thanks for any help you can provide, Terry
Sullivan.

Terry,

you asked;

<<<pressure, manifolding, etc. Since we're redoing the works I'd prefer to do it

You can find your answer in the Uniformed Plumbing Code. Olsen's book "The
Kiln Book" has a copy of the code. If you have additional questions, feel
free to give me a call.
