John

Do you have the glaze database in dbf format that you could email to me? It
is easier to search in a database format rather than a text type format.

John, just an incidental thought
for the original poster regarding
this issue -- several programs I've
used over the years can read (import)
a text file into .dbf format.

FoxPro did it, though I can't
remember how. LotusScript was
pretty durable doing it using the
'agent' facility, and it's sometimes
used to convert text file mailing
lists to .dbf format. I'd imagine
that the Sankey database -- conveniently
pre-formatted with carriage return/letter/
periods to distinguish between fields --
could be readily converted.

"Do you have the glaze database in dbf format"

No. DBF format only works for people who have programs that use it. For
starters, I don't. Text works for everyone, including those restricted to
human eyeballs and text editors.

There was a brief effort to make a server-side MySQL interface, which anyone
with web access could use on-line, but it fell through.
