Pewabic Pottery (Detroit, Mi) has a cat kiln that does both. That's all I know about the specifics. We did a wood firing Memorial Day (no burners) and we will do a soda firing at the end of the month soon with burners. I am not an expert on this by any means so don't ask me how, what or why - maybe just come by and visit.
I had fun with the woodfiring and am looking forward to experimenting with the soda.
