for clarity sake about porcelainous stoneware.

Actually Antoinette I'd say after the B-Mix primer if a person could
successfully throw with cream cheese they'd be very successful with
porcelain.

Gayle Bair - John Hansen did just that at a Potluck and the end of a
class session. It was very amusing! I walked by him and dipped a
cracker into it and ate it. The reactions of the students was hilarious.

If anyone thinks that I meant that just inexperienced potters should use porcelanous stoneware, please please please, that is not true and not what I meant. Very experienced and successful potters choose to work with clays like B-Mix. It is just a suggestion that if you've never worked with porcelain, to consider working with something like b-mix first. That would make the jump to porcelain easier. Did I say it better this time?
