There are so many. I have some what I am using for my
research but, the chemical composition will be different if you are using y=
our
local wood ashes. It may worth to try to contact department of chemistry in

Hi Kim,
Thanks - I'm trying to find out just how much the same type of ash differs
from place to place.
Do you have any numbers for me?
Thanks - RR

Dear Ron Roy,
Don't forget that B. Leach has some examples of Ash analyses in "The
Potter's Book" .
Page 164 gives details including unwashed and washed values.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.

I don't share recipes with book authors who won't share recipes in
their books. Buy the book. ;^)
