Suchman ceramics on mon 23 jun 08
Hi all,I haven't been able to get the list for almost a year now. So I hope
I am not being redundant with my question. I'm looking for a thick white ^6
glaze that crawls a bit around the edges in a reduction fire on redware.
I'm thinking that this would be shino like but not of the carbon trap
style, at least I prefer not.
Thanks, eric in oceanside

Try a line blend in your glaze, using magnesium carbonate. MG shrinks
from wet to dry and is used in making crawling type glazes. I use up to
35% in a glaze. =20
