Some Clay Art members may have attended ceramic art programs at Ghost Ranch
in Abiqui. If you haven't, you are missing out on experiencing one of the
most wonderful places in the world. As Georgia O'Keefe found, there is
something very special about this place in Northern New Mexico.
The New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists, an association of about 250 clay
people in our state, has done several initiatives to improve the facilities
down in Pot Hollow, the area of Ghost Ranch where workshops are held. The
Ranch has even installed a brand new West Coast gas kiln. Read about this on

The point of this message is to invite clay arters to attend workshops at
the Ranch and experience the wonderful environment. There is still space in
Barbara Campbell's workshop being held July 21-27th during which she will be
doing the initial firings in the new gas kiln. Here is a link with

I know it is late to be telling you about this, but if you are like me, you
are doing things on the spur of the moment this year! Another workshop at
the Ranch with more lead time is the NMPCA's weekend workshop, the last
