Hey, Ric--
I DID say you had to wedge the hell out of it first before you use it!!!!!
You can't expect to just set it on the wheel and go. Sounds like you
learned quite a bit from your workshop experience---probably as much
or more than you taught them! After the recent posts, we now all know
that if you take the unevenly thawed clay and slam the bag around
gleefully, it will be good to go. Meets two needs in one---getting the clay
into shape and ridding the body of toxic frustrations at the same time.

By the way, a good friend of mine used to live in Bethel and she's a
clay sculptor---I don't know if you two were there at the same time---her
name is Jewel Gross Brenneman. Who would have thought there
would ever be any connection between two clay people and Bethel,
Alaska--one of the farthest points in the Barrow Straights! This list is
amazing!!!!

Put more fun in your life--always!!!
Sandy
