I am selling an Olympic Model DD14P (propane). It is rated cone 10, has =
a soft brick interior and fiber door. The interior of the door has some =
slight damage from a critter knawing into it and I will either repair, =
or supply fiber to do it. The spot is about 4 by 4 inches and is about =
an inch deep into the fiber. It does not go all the way through. I =
have knocked quite a bit off the asking price because of that. It has =
been sitting, under cover for over 2 years, unfired. I will certainly =
fire it up before completing any sale of it. I will also give the buyer =
shelves and post. The kiln has only been fired 5 times and only to cone =
6. That is what I was firing too, not because of any problems with the =
kiln. I will be glad to supply the buyer with glaze recipes for cone 6 =
if they are interested.
Olympic now sells these for $6,435. our price is $3,800.I have enjoyed =
the kiln, just need more barn space.
