The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) is seeking a chair for their ceramics=
department.=A0 A small community-based art center, CHAW offers classes in =
many mediums to ages and abilities across the spectrum in the Eastern Marke=
t neighborhood of Capitol Hill, Washington DC
The Ceramics Chair position includes access to the studio 24-7 when classes=
are not in session, plus a very small stipend.....perfect for someone who =
is interested in working in the studio regularly.=A0 Paid teaching is also =
possible.
Duties include maintaining the studio and equipment, mixing glazes, recycli=
ng clay, firing all work for all classes (electric kilns), and being a liai=
son between faculty, staff, students and community.
