No, Joyce, this will not be another Free Trade Glaze rant.

But, con permisso, this is an example of a basic glaze problem. (Yes, I AM
working on "Recipes".)

Glaze recipes are passed on. I have a slip recipe I call Beth Molaro's
because I got it from her. She may have invented it, or may have gotten it
in college. I "name" glazes I get for the people I got them from.
There are NO original glazes, so that works well.

Now Dale's Brown may have originated with someone called Dale, been passed
on by someone called Dale, there was a workshop in a place called Dale, or
it was named for someone called Dale, though the Dale in question is not a
potter. (As I named a bunch of glazes after my innocent great-nieces and
nephews.)

Randy: You need to tell us what the cone you are firing to is; and do you
recall ANY of the ingredients?
Like does it use a frit? Does it contain Zinc? Does it contain lithium, or
any of the lithium spars? Give us a clue.

And if anyone knows an instant cure for sciatica, tell me!
