For that kind of money, I can buy a lovely pot, perfectly centered,
wonderfully glazed, and ready to use.
Or..... my ability to center a glob of clay is worth $274. So... if I
throw a mug, and the clay is centered when I throw said mug, the mug
should be worth considerably more than $274.
