hey y'all, hope your summer has been a good and not a too hot one. i have some sales and a 2 person show coming up in september that i wanted y'all to know about.

Sept. 6, 10-4pm, Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC
4th Annual Mint Museum Potter's Market Invitational
I am excited and honored to be included among 40 of NC finest ceramic artists and potters for this annual invitational sale. You can visit www.mintmuseum.org/pottersmarket for directions and details on the sale.

Sept. 20-November 1, Craven Allen Gallery, Durham, NC
I will be joined by Peg Bachenheimer, an encaustic painter, for a 2 person show at Craven Allen Gallery, 1106 1/2 Broad Street, Durham, NC 27705. The title of my part of the show is 'Sticks and Stones' and will include ceramic vessels based on rock and tree forms, surfaces, and textures. I am very excited about this new body of work which will include more subdued, earthy tones with bright, saturated areas of color. Please join us for the opening reception, Saturday, Sept. 20, 5-7pm. Sept. 26-27, Doug Dotson Pottery, Pittsboro, NC
6th Annual 3 Guys* and Some Pottery Sale
I will join Doug Dotson and Kelly O Briant for our 6th annual sale of functional pottery. Don't miss this opportunity to see ceramic vessels in 3 unique styles using 3 different clay bodies and firing to 3 different ceramic temperatures. This year s sale will also include ironwork, prints, and books by guest artists Kara Ikenberry and Matthew Thomason. The sale opens Friday, September 26, 6-9pm, with a Preview Party complete with refreshments and the first chance to purchase work.
