As a student of Paul's...I don't think you have the
Correct formula for clay...
Cone 10...clay
50 lbs. lincoln 60 fireclay
25 lbs. ball clay
5 lbs. feldspar (custer)
5 lbs red art - which would flux the clay at the amount you have listed...
used for color....
5-10 lbs. sand
5-10 lbs. grog if you have it...
That was also the clay that Phil Cornelius
Made for his students...
But he preferred greenstripe fireclay,
Paul used lincoln 60 fireclay
