A friend of mine is closing his studio. He asked me to spread the word =
to
those potters who live in or near NW Michigan Lower Peninsula a few =
miles
north of Traverse City..
The kiln is made of AP Green K-26 bricks inside and K-23 bricks outside =
for
a9" wall. Outside measurements are 65X65X65" and Inside 47"X47"X47"
Included are 4 Alfred style atmospheric burners with Baso valves and =
pilot
lights.
There is a complete manifold system for the burners
20 silicon carbide shelves 12" x 28". The kiln holds 3 deep.
A floor flue under the bottom shelves provides even firing throughout =
the
kiln.
A hard brick bag wall distributes the gas evenly.
There is a hard brick chimney and clue with stainless steel additional
chimney.
The top of the kiln brick is covered with Fiberfax for additional heat
retention.
AP Green hard brick arch corners - expensive. =20
He is asking $2500 for everything except the kiln building.
If you have interest contact Lee Ewald (231) 544-6252 or email w8wa at
torchlake.com (connect with the @ for "at") for more information and =
photos.
Thank you.=20
