Tony,
This guy needs to write a book or two. He has several great titles
for them in what you just listed. Of just video tape the slide
lectures. I would lay out some cash to watch the first one and the
one on Majolica on DVD.

I'm pimping a damn fine lecture series that could be given by a friend
and colleague from Sheridan College. Winn Burke has taught the History
of Ceramics at Sheridan for 36 years. He has travelled the world and
has thousands and thousand of images. He is one heck of a presenter
and is interested in going on the travel circuit to show all his
wealth of information.
Here is some of the topics to choose from:
China, Korea and Japan- the power and influence that colours
everything that folllows.
The Near and Mid East- march of influence travels west
The Minoan and Greek Transition
Hispano/Moresque- the majolica path from the Mid East thru Africa to
Spain and Italy. The spin off to Europe and North America considering
the emergence of designer/craftsmen business production.
Mexico and Middle America cultures
South America cultures and Folk Art of the Americas
Contemporary artists and their influencec through historical
references and /or personal experiences.
Each one of the above topics is about a 2 hour lecture/slide show.
If your guild or school is interested please contact Winn Burke

The students at Sheridan love this guy and his presentation of ceramic history.
Cheers,
Tony
